Yes, we’re still here. But for sure we will find the right window to escape this port and head south. It seems windier than yesterday, so I don’t understand why we didn’t go then. Unless there’s something wrong with the ship!
Here is the current weather. Someone explain how it can be 47 but feel like 17? That’s crazy. We can feel the crazy wind gusts though.
We didn’t bother leaving the ship this morning, given the wind and rain.
I went to a genealogy seminar. It was interesting and way more involved than I assumed. The lecturer is a legit historian and has traced her family back to the 1600s. Apparently there are sites that will animate old pictures, maybe make eyes blink or add a smile. Seemed creepy to me. You can also make the pictures talk and tell their own story. Nothing disturbing about that!
I think Martha has taken up permanent residence at the Explorer Lounge where everyone knows her name and waits on her hand and foot. I came in to join her and she was stretched out on the couch with her blanket, wine, computer, iPad, and phone, and the guitar player singing her favorites. I don’t think she is leaving.
Otherwise, we’re just chilling with many fellow passengers trading stories and guessing what is going to happen next. The Captain came on with a weather / leaving update around 4 pm. We are now leaving around 10 pm tonight and skipping Flam tomorrow. Instead we will have a sea day. Good grief! At least I have a massage tomorrow.

Always an adventure. Love your attitudes!
Best of luck with your sea day tomorrow. Martha, I love the way you travel!
